Paramount has hired Taylor Lautner as Max Steel.

Can you tell that this post was basically a reason to show a shirtless Taylor???

Who is Max Steel?

Josh McGrath was a 19-year-old fictional extreme sports teen star. After his parents die he is adopted by his father's best friend who works in an extreme sports manufacturing company. The company is just a front for a secret intelligence agency called N-Tek.

One day while Josh visits his stepfather a group of enemy agents attack the facility. While fighting Josh is hurt and exposed to microscopic nanomachines or "Nano Tech Max".  To save Josh's life his stepfather agrees to having Josh healed with to a high proportion of the transphasic energy (nicknamed "t-juice"). This saves his life and also gives him superpowers. As a result, Josh takes on the identity of Max Steel crime fighter!

Sounds like this could be the next superhero with Halloween costumes and action figure dolls.

Good luck Taylor. I hope they find a director soon.

Personally, for me, I really like Taylor and I want to see him do well. He looks like a really sweet kid and thought he was cute since seeing him as Shark Boy! Love it. My kids were big Shark Boy and Lava Girl fans for awhile.

I think he is a perfect Jacob. Jacob is a little obnoxious at times and the wrong actor could make him unlikable. Taylor has that likability factor.
Are they seriously leaving these blurry pieces of dry grass over the photos? It's annoying me, like I have something on my screen and want to blew it off. Annoying!

Body Language Speaks Volumns-Comic Con 2009 Pictures

Whether Kristin and Rob are together or not, that seems to be the question on Twilighaholics minds everywhere. Well, in the pictures I have seen taken at Comic Con, she seems to be leaning all over Taylor. Her arm is around Taylor and her other arm next to Rob P is awkwardly up in the air in an "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you" sort of way. Rob Paz is obviously talking, probably saying, "do I smell?" or 'Did we sleep together last night?" Or some other WTF statement.





However, when she finally has to put her arm around Rob (some reporter must have requested it, "awww..come on Kristin, include Rob.") she leans into him and obviously got hot because she removed her sweatshirt.

See how the rag magazines get their stories? Just make some shit up and roll with it. Easy Peasy.

Worry Not Twilight Fans!!!

Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz:

I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.

The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

Questions had arisen about whether the 16-year-old could effectively portray his werewolf character, who ages 10 years and grows much taller and bulkier in the film's sequel. But Weitz said Lautner, who's been hitting the gym to build muscle, is "emotionally right for the part" and has the movie studio's full support.

In a recent PEOPLE.com poll, readers overwhemingly voted to keep Lautner rather than see him replaced by actor Michael Copon, 26, a rumored rival for the role.
