For many The Glasgow club scene seemed a little empty with the lose of Utter Gutter, Optimo, Rpz.
The fashion conscious in need of decent music and a good atmosphere had no real place to go but that all seems to have changed with the arrival of Glasgow's Chicest, sexiest, funkiest club night "Supermax" a collaboration between freelance fashion Stylist Lisa Ringrose and DJ Billy Woods (Future Boy).
With Fashion shows via Che Camile, Halloween Balls and hot sweaty and intimate nights at the Brunswick Hotel it's not your ordinary club night they offer something more, constantly evolving challenging perceptions of what people think Glasgow is all about with good quality music, atmosphere and people.
The music ranging from Disco, Funk and classic House as well as there (some might say Risque Flyer's) which recently caused a bit of a stir on Facebook have helped to create Supermax as THEE place to go and be seen within Glasgow's underground Fashion/Music scene.
After a few years at various venues including Che Camile, SWG3 Warehouse they seemed to have settled for the more intimate venue of Basura Blanka the club space beneath The Brunswick Hotel.
Which helps to create that feeling of exclusivity as its' not the biggest of venues and getting there early is the only way to guarantee entry and believe me this is one party you definitely don't want to miss.
I will be posting more on Supermax over the next few days in the run up to This Saturdays NON-STOP CABARET Night..with videos Music and my favourite flyer's as well as a little interview with Billy himself...
