I Am Truly Sad

Hearing tonight that Mike Tyson's daughter died just made me so sad. The news was reporting today that she had accidentally hung herself on a treadmill cord yesterday and was on life support.

She was 4 years old and her 7 year old brother found her ran to their mom who started CPR before the ambulance got there.

I am just so sad to know that little girl is dead. This is the kind of thing that scares that crap out of parents. We can do everything to protect our children, accidents are just that. Something that wasn't meant to happen but did.

My heart goes out to the entire family who had to pull her from life support today.

Charlie's Angel's Family Is Reportedly Saying Good-bye

It is being reported that Farrah Fawcett's 91 year old dad is flying in and her son was released from prison to say good-bye to her.

Farrah, 62, was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006 and has fought this disease long and hard. According to People, she was in remission but then the cancer returned.

If this is true, this is so sad. No one should have to suffer the way she is.

Looks Can Be Deceiving But.....

I find this picture hysterical. Not because Rob and Kristin Stewert seem to be dazzling each other which is what half the internet is saying. But, that chick in the front who was caught in mid blink is hysterical. Poor chick! She is in the same picture with Rob and she has to see that face posted everywhere.

Yes, it does appear that they are close but they ARE at a concert. You have to get up in everyone's grill to hear each other. I am sure my friends and I looked like we were ready to make out when we are talking at a concert.

If they are...lucky her! She does have that I love you look going though.

Dom DeLuise RIP

You have to know who Dom DeLuise is, if you don't then you haven't really laughed.

Growing up, we were big Dom DeLuise fans. My father was a Mel Brooks fan and we watched all his movies over and over, so much so that we could recite lines verbatum. We loved Silent Movie, Blazing Saddles, History of the World and Space Balls.

Some of my favorite Dom DeLuise movies are:
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother
The World's Greatest Lover
The End
Fatso
Smokey and the Bandit II
History of the World Part I

Only my family will get this one but "you ate the ony!"

It is a sad day in the comedy world! I was heartbroken to hear this news. My sister's and I always said that he looked like our father and hearing of his passing, actually hurt my heart.

My prayers go out to his family.

Prayers for David Cook's Family

David Cook's brother Adam has been battling Cancer for11 years. Today David announced the passing of his brother.

From David's site:

Hello, everyone. It is with great sadness I share with you that David announced at the Race for Hope this morning that his beloved older brother Adam had lost his battle with cancer late last night/early this morning.

Just a quick note to let's, out of love and respect for David and his family, offer our thoughts and/or prayers, as well as our support and understanding here in this thread, but otherwise please respect their privacy at this time. Thank you.

An official announcement will, no doubt, be forthcoming.

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Dave and his family, to Kendra and the children, and to everyone whose lives are affected by this great loss. I am now without words ... *tears*

This is so sad. We all remember Adam sitting in the American Idol audience, supporting his little brother.

Cancer sucks!
