Children As Dolls Photography

I honestly think I may have nightmares tonight. These photos are disturbing. I guess they were meant to be but I have a hard time seeing these as art. I just want to pick this little girl up and hug her. That is probably what the photographer Zhang Peng wanted but I think he is a bit disturbed.






Is anyone else creeped out by this?
