Urban Style: Customised
Got round to customising my denim shirt for an impromptu night out on Friday and I must say having never used a glue gun before in my life I'm rather pleased with the results ok so all I did was add some pyramid shaped studs from an old belt I no longer wear to the shoulders but it took a lot of effort trust me especially considering I was texting at the same time and they say men can't multitask?....hmmmppff
Next adornment was my new Fluorescent pink flamingo purchased from Primark for £1.50 bargain which was added to the front pocket as a real statement piece.
I couldn't stop laughing at it when i bought it but then again I am easily amused I mean it has diamantes what more could you want and it attracted a far bit of attention in a good way tho you understand as everyone loved it and wants one of there own.
Next up for customisation was my Grey leather waistcoat type thing I say that as I'm not sure it is a waistcoat well it doesn't have sleeves so I guess it is, anyway I used the same studs but put them on the front where I had removed a few of the belt loops and put one stud on each shoulder which I think looks good makes it different and unique as I never like to look like everyone else I mean why would you (set trends don't follow them).
I haven't taken pictures of them yet but I will do tomorrow probably when I get the chance then you can let us know what you think as I'm also going to attack my denim waistcoat with some bleach to see how that works out it could go either way so wish me luck...

Gareth Pugh Inflatable Coat
Wow how cool is this coat by Gareth Pugh....it's a long sleeveless number made from cotton with an inflatable hem that you can wear inflated to your personal taste or just a normal coat whatever takes your fancy really.
I love the monochrome geometric print it really works with this particular design and would be a great attention grabbing crowd pleaser on a night out.
It's available here if you got a cool £2500 lying around about $4000 dollars roughly.
Still it's a great concept from a great designer

NU Music Fridays
Starting a new feature here on A2D every Friday I will be adding the best in new music to get you ready for the weekend from club mixes, rare tracks, Exclusives as well as the odd interview with some of the best up and coming new music talent.
I would to kick things off with a Producer from Los Angeles/Atlanta called Computer Club who has remixed some big tunes like Human League's "Don't you want me" to Flat Eric's Flat beat.
Not only does he remix some of the best music but he also produces some stellar tunes in his own right due to his background in Drum and Bass with his band Evol Intent his tunes have a thumping bass line that you won't forget easily.

Science Channel's Breakout Series Oddities Premieres April 9th At 10:00PM

-"Pawn Stars" Meets "The Addams Family" with the Premiere of ODDITIES Season Two on Saturday, April 9 at 10:00 PM ET/PT on Science Channel-
Where can you go when you're in dire need of a used straight jacket? What if you just have to have a two-headed cat or a book bound with human flesh to make your living room complete? There's only one emporium sublimely weird enough to carry these bizarre items and countless more - Obscura Antiques and Oddities in New York's East Village. Science Channel's breakout series, ODDITIES, follows Obscura's proprietors, Mike and Evan, as well as an assortment of hilariously-unique patrons who are even more outlandish than the merchandise. The second season of ODDITIES premieres Saturday, April 9, at 10:00 PM ET/PT.
Obscura is renowned for having some of the rarest and most-eccentric antique pieces found anywhere - from circus sideshow props, to shocking natural anomalies, to oddball items dabbling in the occult. Aficionados of the unusual from throughout the U.S. and beyond know that Obscura is the only place to purchase their next treasure - or sell their own abnormal assets. Mike, Evan and consultant Ryan serve as the ringmasters for this one-of-a-kind experience that's part swap meet and part cult rally.
"At Science Channel, we make it our goal to 'own weird' on television," said Debbie Adler Myers, executive vice president and general manager of Science Channel. "Obscura might be the most fascinatingly bizarre place I have ever been, and ODDITIES takes viewers through the looking glass for an incredibly entertaining look at one of the most unique subcultures anywhere."
The premiere of ODDITIES season two is literally "lights-out," as the store is visited by a circus performer known for his bizarre appetite. Within minutes of entering Obscura, he begins unscrewing and eating the store's lightbulbs. Freakish finds for season two include a shrunken head, the body of a half alligator/half boy, a Tibetan trumpet made of a human femur, and a cow...with two heads, six legs and two tails.
