East Village Boys.......New York

East village boys .

A new blog I came across after being recommended by a friend on facebook.

It features some great photography clever well written articles and info on various Art events within New York each with their own individual style.

I have picked my favourite set from the Photographer Simon Bøcker Mørch

This week’s East Village Boys of the Week are Jon and Benjamin, from Copenhagen, Denmark

Their "boy of the week" photoshots taken by some of the most talented photographers out there are worth checking out not only for the opiniated and bitchy comments left by its mainly gay following but for the sheer delight of seeing some of the hottest, and cutest guys from New York in pretty much nothing but their underwear or naked in a bath. That aside it also showcases new emerging talent and encourages its readers to get involved and be a part of it.

LCD Soundsystem

LCD SOUNDSYSTEM
Release there 3rd Album "THIS IS HAPPENING"
17th may 2010 / 18th may 2010 (US).

Marking a return to form for the New York band with influences from New Order and that 80's synth sound which seems to be everywhere right now but LCD always seem to make it their own.
Main question is tho have they found their sound? I think they have it definatley seems more structured and less experimental than previous albums and thats certainly a good thing.
If you cant wait till then to hear it then click on the album cover above to be taken to a live streaming of the entire album.
Make sure you also check out the video for Drunk Girls you wont be disapointed....
