What a night Merchant city Festival went off with a bang in Glasgow this weekend with Free Street theater live bands market stalls all creating a real buzz around this part of town.
It seemed much bigger than last year with more entertainment which really helped to create a good atmosphere along with the good weather.
The guys over at supermax had there annual Fashion Show as part of the Merchant City festival in the penthouse suite of the Brunswick Hotel with the official after party down in the basement.
Went along with my friend Paul to check out what it was all about as neither of us had been to the fashion part of it before as we were intending on going to Supermax anyway.
Arriving at the hotel we where greeted by Lisa Ringrose who was hosting the event but having arrived just before the show was about to start we didn't get the best location to get pictures so went upstairs to the mezzanine level instead and got chatting to lady who's daugther was one of the models which was great.
Even managed to get a few good pics and videos and before you knew it was over so we both left the Brunswick and headed over the road for a few drinks before heading back to go the Official after show party with Dj Billy Woods.
I'm not sure if was because of the good weather the fact it was the Merchant City festival or what but everyone just seemed to be in such a good mood and happy to be there having a good time enjoying the music and shaking there shimmys...More pics on the after party will follow soon...
