DR MARTENS 1461 NEW COLOURWAYS

Iconic footwear brand Dr Martens have unveiled the 1461 in numerous new colourways.


With new colourways including aubergine, burgundy, pink, green, yellow, black and white, the 1461 is ultimately a collectors item and a limited edition of the classic shoe.

Crafted in England, the classic silhouette features a thick, deeply grooved sole with three eyelet openings and a rounded toe. All shoes come with a certificate of authenticity and a special edition shoebox.

Dr Martens have also put together a conceptual video about the collectors item of footwear entitled ‘Sceptered Isle’. See the video below:

The new Buchanan Street development across from the Buchanan Galleries owned by the same people that has caused quite a commotion has finally been given the go ahead I found this pic online and it gives you a wee glimpse of what it will look like when finished with the huge Forever21 shop dominating directly opposite H&M ....

KBS has finally confirmed that their popular teenage drama series, “Dream High“, will get a second season!

On March 17th, a representative from KBS spoke through TV Report and revealed, “We will be producing a second season for ‘Dream High’, and it will feature stories about the youth generation. This has been in discussion since the conclusion of season one.”

He continued, “Whether we’ll be casting rookie idols like ‘Dream High’ and ‘Jungle Fish,’, or whether we’ll be going through an audition process is still up for discussion. There’s a high probability that the season will begin airing in January of 2012, just in time for winter break.”

So what might change for “Dream High Season 2″? The representative did not reveal much, but said, “The original format of ‘Dream High’ was great, so we’re planning to carry it over.”

It all started with Calvin Klein

 Summer is almost here so the underwear campaigns are hitting us hard and fast this latest one from Teamm8.com an Australian brand quite new to the market made me think "I have seen this before".


Calvin Klein did the exact same thing back in the early 90's for his CK Jeans campaign and it got banned. Teamm8 claim there version was "Too hot for Facebook".........Watch both videos and make up your own mind.

Following on from Justice and So-Me, Coca-Cola has teamed with Daft Punk for their Club Coke campaign.

This edition consists of two aluminum bottles in gold and silver, paying tribute to the famous robot helmets.
The bottles will be available March 21 at colette, Paris in a collectors box, and individually at the end of March in some Monoprix shops and nightclubs.
Coca-Cola has also announced that an exclusive item that will be unveiled during May on Daftcoke.com, with the chance to also win the bottles.

New H&M @ Glasgow Fort

Another branch of a major fashion chain is opening in Glasgow.
The latest H&M shop will create 20 jobs when it is unveiled at The Fort in Easterhouse on March 17.
It will be the Swedish company’s seventh store in the Glasgow area.
The opening is part of a reorganisation at the centre which is just off the M8.
It will take over the previous New Look site, splitting it with another clothes store, Bank
The site became vacant after Borders bookshop closed at Christmas 2009 and New Look moved in.
The first 100 people to visit H&M after its 11am opening will be given a free gift card worth £5 to £50.
Magnus Olsson, H&M’s manager for the UK and Ireland, said: “We are excited to be increasing our presence in the Glasgow area with this fantastic new location
“The shopping centre has gained a strong reputation as an easily accessible out of the city centre fashion destination, which we feel will complement our other stores in the area.”
Phil Goodman, manager of The Fort, said: “ This will enhance the existing appeal of our fashion-led line-up.”
