Tic Tac Toe Glasgow goes bang...

No longer are you stuck for somewhere to go in Glasgow thanks to the ever growing club nights that seem to be springing up everywhere from SuperMax, Menergy, Keep it Sleazy and Tic Tac Toe a club night that has had a few homes including Stereo, The renfrew Ferry, West Brewery (Hogmanay) and the Arches Cafe bar.
Glasgow right now in my opinion is going through that decade of change similar to the 70'S Disco era in New York and 80's London New Romantics scene with all the Fashionistas and art school students setting trends many will follow and talk about for years to come DJ'S creating a buzz and making people feeling glad to be a part of something new and belonging to a scene that they helped to create.

Supermax Boxing Day Blowout......

Went along to this not knowing what to expect having never been before heard about it from various people that it was a good night if you liked your disco.
A small, sweaty and very intimate atmosphere very quickly filling to capacity some of my friends couldnt even get in being such a small venue.
You see arriving early is crucial to ensuring entry to this now legendary club night from Lisa Ring Ringrose and DJ Billy Woods.
Looking forward to the next one...28.01.11 I think.....lol

Beth Dito: Solo EP Teaser....

Never one to shy away from standing out the amazingly talented Beth Ditto has just released a teaser of her forthcoming solo EP produced by Simian Mobile Disco whom she collaborated with previously on the single Cruel Intentions on there Temporary Pleasures Album.

The full EP as yet untitled will be available in January with no word yet on a full solo album to follow but im sure there will be.
The EP it's self marks a change in direction for Beth from her Punk roots and see's a more Electro minimal Disco sound.
