New Reality Show On A&E - The Exterminators

Align Center
A & E adds another reality show to their network with The Exterminators!

A&E's new original real-life series "The Exterminators," premieres Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 10:30pm ET/PT

We will follow Billy Bretherton and his family who make up Vexcon, one of Louisiana's busiest pest removal companies, as they balance family life with the drama of running a successful business together. The 13-episode half-hour series follows the Vexcon team in their search and rescue efforts to rid clients of their most extreme pest cases, while also taking care to release as many animals as possible back into the wild. The company handles all types of removal and in the swamps of Louisiana that means big business from colonies of ants to giant snakes, Billy and his team have seen it all.

The premiere episode focuses on Goth Bees and Killer Racoons.

Billy faces an angry mother raccoon trying to protect her young from his snare, and then goes on a mission to exterminate a seven-foot-long beehive. But bees aren’t the only thing that are causing a buzz in the Bretherton family. Ricky’s ex-wife, Pam, has returned to work at Vexcon, and that’s rubbing some of the Brethertons the wrong way.

Billy and his family have been in the exterminating business for over 21 years. Billy's mentality is to understand the hierarchy of animals, insects, the magnetic fields, seasons, and the poles in order exterminate properly.

My Opinion: Billy's personality will either make you love him or hate him. His education and philosophy in the field will make you interested and the drama surrounding Billy, his family and the wives will make you keep tuning in.

I remember Billy and his family from one of my favorite shows Dirty Jobs. Vexcon was featured on DJ with Mike Rowe back in 2005. I found them interesting and entertaining and I am happy to see someone picked them up.

Good luck guys but I don't think you are going to need it.

The Bachelor #4 Recap - New Season 13

Wow....I am so excited about tonight show. Jason and the girls will be heading to the set of General Hospital a show I have watched for over 30 years.

Chris starts the show by telling the girls have to earn this weeks one on one date by writing and performing a song for Jason. They have 30 minutes to write and Molly is sure she will sound like a professional song you would hear on the radio. Nikki is emotional because this is way outside her box. Shannon will rap like Jason did when he was on the show.

Nikki talks about being a control freak like it is a bad thing. She is crying that she just can't do this.

Molly goes first and sings about "nuggets and french fries".

Shannon raps about how "hot" Jason is.

Jillian was looking for "adventure".

Lauren sang a full song about a "leap of faith that everyone should take".

Nikki sits there fanning herself and gets up sings a song she "would want to sing to her baby one day".

Jason chooses Molly who incorporated him in the song when she asked him to sing with her.

Shannon brings in Molly's note from Jason which says "let's stay home tonight at my place".

Jason and Molly have a picnic with fries, burgers. Not sure if it's hot in there but Molly is a bit sweaty.

The girls get the group date box which include Jillian, Lauren, Shannon, Megan, Melissa, and Naomi. Which means that Nikki and Stephanie are on the two-on-one date.

Nikki cries about going up against Stephanie.

Meanwhile back at Jason's, they are making s'mores by a campfire. She tells him that she is having the time of her life and she sees herself with someone exactly like him. He has all the qualities of someone she wants to be with. She is looking through a crystal ball and can see what kind of husband he would be and what kind of father he would be.

Jason gives Molly a rose and tells her the more he gets to know her the more he likes her.

Molly has butterflies and says that you can tell a lot from kissing someone. He asks her to camp out with him so the night doesn't end. They enter the tent and you can hear kissing and moaning.

Back at the house Shannon waits up for Molly's return. She will be waiting a long time because Molly doesn't return until morning. He walks her back to the house where they kiss. Molly tells us that she has no regrets and that she is the first girl in bachelor history to have to do the walk of shame. She also tells them that she didn't get much sleep.

Melissa doesn't like that she smells like Jason and that she is wearing his pants.

Jason walks in and heads out with the group date girls. They arrive on the set of General Hospital. They walk in and flip out over the set. I would totally flip out too.

Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) are doing a scene. They end the scene and send the girls to hair and make-up.

Jason is ready to play doctor and walks around with a stethoscope checking everyone's heart. Kristen talks to the girls about the kissing scene. Shannon volunteers to kiss Jason to show everyone how is should be done.

So fun to see them on the set of GH. Jason plays a doctor who is having an affair with his maid Naomi. They kiss and Lauren walks in. The director says all wrong and makes them kiss again. Melissa can't take all the kissing. She is freaking out. The girls are getting pissed because Lauren keeps messing up the scene which makes them have to kiss again and again.

Next, Jason and Jillian are sitting on the Q's couch and Jason's character has to propose to her and tell her that he loves her.

Melissa is having a very hard time watching all the make out scenes.

Nikki and Stephanie discuss their upcoming date with Jason. Nikki wants to tuck Ty in and be in love again.

Megan loves her character's outfit. She gets to seduce Jason in "Jason's" apartment. He tells her character he loves her and they make out while the rest of the girls yell cut.

Poor Jason is fanning himself trying to calm down from all his kissing scenes.

Jason and the girls heard out to a wrap party. The girls are very stressed and emotions are very high. The girls are not enjoying themselves, everyone is jealous over his time with everyone else.

Naomi sits alone, Jason walks over and they talk. He tells her there is a connection and she tells him that she is so scared. She cries and he tells her that she is one person that he would always want the best for. He says that they will be in each other's life for a long time.

Melissa talks to Megan about how much it hurt her to see Jason kissing the other girls. Shannon tells Jillian that this is very hard for her.

Megan tells the girls that the process is hard but to enjoy themselves.

Megan takes Jason aside and him that all the girls are saying "this is so hard" but she says everything is perfect. Jason hugs Megan and she wants him to kiss her, he doesn't.

Shannon says for her it was love at first sight and she really wants to talk to him. She is "hanging on by a string."

Lauren feels confident and asks Jason why he kept Megan. She tells him that he needs to give her a rose tonight. Wow, I am shocked that she asked. What business is it of hers. Jason looks pissed and I think she just signed her goodbye ticket.

Jason takes Melissa aside to talk to her. They hug and she cries. He sits her down and she tries to compose herself and he hugs her. She tells him that today proved to her that she really does care about him. She tells him "Apparently I have fallen for you." He says, I like that and they kiss. Shannon busts in on their time together.

Shannon takes Jason aside and tells him that this has been so difficult for her. She feels that she has frozen up and that she put a wall up. She tells him "you can't let me go. I have so much to offer you. I am not letting you let me go. You have to believe in me right now. I am looking for my best friend. I want to be a mother. I want to meet Ty. I want you to come home with me."

Jason says he is sad when Shannon says this to him because he doesn't have the deep feelings that she is developing.

Shannon leans in to kiss him and she feels that he cut it short. He did!! She feels like it was a rejection because he kept telling her that she had napkin on her face.

She was snotting all over herself can she blame him? Who wants to kiss that!?

Jason gives the rose to Naomi and tells her "thanks for being you."

Lauren feels like an idiot. She should!

Jason appreciates that the girls all opened up to him, and they all toast.

Nikki and Stephanie get ready for their date. The doorbell rings and the girls head downstairs to see two stunning ball gowns.

Stephanie looks stunning in her gown. The girls are glowing. Jason knows this will be a tough night. He likes both of these girls and feels that one of these two could be his wife. He believes this could be one of the hardest things he will have to do.

Jason, Stephanie, Nikki head out. Nikki got the first impression rose and he liked her right off the bat but feels she just stays in the box. He feels that Stephanie is a wonderful women, great mom, great person but wants to make sure that there is a romantic connection.

There is a dancing lesson and everyone is nervous. Nikki and Jason look awkward. I love that she is giggling because you don't usually see her like that. Stephanie can dance and has taught ballet. She has confidence and wishes Nikki was out of the picture. They dance well together and she feels there is a connection. Nikki feels they look like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. She feels like a third wheel. She steps outside her box and steal Jason back for a dance. Stephanie cuts in and takes her moment. She wants to kiss him. Nikki wants the last dance and steps in again.

Jason believes both girls have amazing qualities. Jason asks both women about leaving their hometown to be with him. Nikki says she could leave because she has no one to answer to it's just her. Stephanie says that she will be wherever the one she loves is. Nikki tells Jason about her 11 year relationship. He pulls her aside to hear more of it. She is much more open and happy on this date. She is definitely trying to get that rose and it is working for her. She is shining, comfortable and happy.

He takes Stephanie aside and she tells him how happy she is to get this opportunity. She is happy to be able to open her heart. She tells him she is attracted to him and is dying to kiss him. She is too much of a lady to make the first move.

Jason knows he has to send one of them home. He says this is very hard and that he sees them both as two of the most amazing people in the house. He tells Stephanie she has a heart of gold and tells Nikki that she is as sweet as can be. He give the rose to Stephanie. She feels terrible for Nikki and doesn't take any time to be thankful for the moment. He walks Nikki out and tells her how great she is. He says this was the hardest decision he has ever had to make.

Nikki tells us that she never saw this coming. She says she is in shock and doesn't know how to react. She doesn't know how much smarter or prettier she can get. She knows she could have been very good for him and that she is disappointed.

Jason walks back to Stephanie who tells him she knows that was hard to do. They hug and dance some more.

Jason finally kisses Stephanie and it seems a bit forced but I like that he went in for it.

The girls discuss how hard it is getting. Jason walks in and everyone stands up.

Jillian and Jason head outside to talk. He tells her that he likes that she can separate it all. She tells him she loves their talks and she is grateful.

Melissa and Jason talk about the last time the spoke. She apologizes and he says he knows what it feels like for her. She tells him she notices the little things and points them out to him. She tells him she knows how she feels about him. He kisses her.

Megan is not feeling confident because they haven't had a lot of one on one time. He takes her outside. She feels she is the best for him out of everyone in the house. She tells him she isn't feeling confident and he tells her to be confident in herself. He asks her to waltz. They dance and hug.

Jason walks in and Shannon and Lauren are talking. Shannon asks if he had fun last night. Lauren tells him that she is going to give Jason a slap. She tells him that she is mad that he didn't give her a rose. She is smiling and hopefully he knows she is joking.

She tells him he wants to kiss her. He leans in to kiss her and she goes for it. She feels confident and that she has the strongest connection with him "the other girls need to go home."

The first rose goes to Melissa, then Jillian. He picks up the last rose and says, "I'm sorry. I can't do this. I can't give out this final rose. Megan you are amazing. Lauren you are honest, real. Shannon you are a beautiful person but I can't lead anybody on. I don't see forever and I don't want to lead anybody on.

Megan, Shannon and Lauren will be leaving tonight. Lauren tells him that she respects him but she tells us that she doesn't think its fair that he changed the rules by not giving out the last rose.

Shannon feels Jason is the perfect man. She says she wants a connection and when she gets home will use her electric toothbrush and make out with her puppy.

Megan is shocked and is hurt and confused. She says it is pathetic how much she doesn't want to go home right now.

Stephanie, Jillian, Melissa, Naomi, and Molly are left and Jason says "one of you, I will definitely spend the rest of my life with."

Color Trends for 2009

Did you all know there was a group of folks who research and observing color trends and social issues around the globe, including ecological issues, technology discoveries, political issues and even sporting events to come up with the color trends for the year.

Now you do.

According to the Color Guild, the global paint authority, the emerging trends for the year will see a return to elemental colors. Lynn Ludlow, Color Guild color consultant states, “A focus on the state of the global economy, as well as the environment will bring consumers back to neutral colors, such as muted yellows, soft grays, café browns and khakis, in the home.”

The trends have been labeled Ease, Earthwatch, Exploration, Evolution and Expression.

Ease: Focuses on the trend to simplify and slow down life. This color palette of soft grays, muted greens and soothing lilac allows consumers to bring peace and serenity back into their home.

Color Guild’s Ease color palette includes: Leisure, Simplistic, Recoup, Natural, Purity, Chill and Response.

Earthwatch: Re-introduces natural colors as a simple reminder of how to make planet Earth a better home.

The Earthwatch color palette allows consumers to surround themselves with organic colors featuring earth tones blended with ocean blue.

Color Guild’s Earthwatch color palette includes: Ozone, Element, Flora, Continental, Tidal, Mineral Dust and Magical Moon.

Exploration: This palette is an assortment of colors that are hopeful and optimistic, including café browns, khakis and deep reds.

Color Guild’s Exploration color palette includes: Discover, Journey, Navigate, Darwin, Sahara Fire, Columbus and Trek.

Evolution: The Evolution color palette reflects this lifecycle focus with muted yellows and taupes.

Color Guild’s Evolution color palette includes: Metaphor, Progress, Advancement, Perfection, Maturation, Betterment and Influence.

Expression: Reveals a palette of vibrant colors the Color Guild has coined “Expression” that range from organic greens, and colorful peaches to dramatic purples.

Color Guild’s Expression color palette includes: Personality Plus, Organic, Drama, Symbol, Henna, Thumbprint and Unique.

Consumers can get the inside scoop on color trends in the pocket-size Color Canvas Collection card, color disks and paints at Color Guild member locations. Visit colorguild for a list of members.

Josh Holloway Having A Hard Time Dealing With Fame

Woot! Look at Josh here! Damn he is hot with all those fake tats. Yummy.

Poor Josh!

You know I feel bad and all. It must be hard to have women throwing themselves at you every time you are out and about.

Josh says, he wouldn't wish fame on anyone.

"The whole sex symbol thing is really strange. I wouldn't wish it on anybody. I appreciate the opportunity to work, the cash it gives you, and other things it provides are wonderful. But the celebrity thing... I don't like attention. Like anybody, it's impossible not to feel self-conscious if someones looking at you all the time, everywhere you go."

I had to chuckle. I love Josh, as you can see here and here (just a few of my Josh posts) but honestly....

Inaugural Address - By President Barack Hussein Obama

My fellow citizens: I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you've bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors.

I thank President Bush for his service to our nation -- (applause) -- as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.

Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often, the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because we, the people, have remained faithful to the ideals of our forebears and true to our founding documents.

So it has been; so it must be with this generation of Americans.

That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost, jobs shed, businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly, our schools fail too many -- and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable, but no less profound, is a sapping of confidence across our land; a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable, that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this America: They will be met. (Applause.)

On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord. On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn-out dogmas that for far too long have strangled our politics. We remain a young nation. But in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness. (Applause.)

In reaffirming the greatness of our nation we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of short-cuts or settling for less. It has not been the path for the faint-hearted, for those that prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather, it has been the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things -- some celebrated, but more often men and women obscure in their labor -- who have carried us up the long rugged path towards prosperity and freedom.

For us, they packed up their few worldly possessions and traveled across oceans in search of a new life. For us, they toiled in sweatshops, and settled the West, endured the lash of the whip, and plowed the hard earth. For us, they fought and died in places like Concord and Gettysburg, Normandy and Khe Sahn.

Time and again these men and women struggled and sacrificed and worked till their hands were raw so that we might live a better life. They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions, greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction.

This is the journey we continue today. We remain the most prosperous, powerful nation on Earth. Our workers are no less productive than when this crisis began. Our minds are no less inventive, our goods and services no less needed than they were last week, or last month, or last year. Our capacity remains undiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions -- that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America. (Applause.)

For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of our economy calls for action, bold and swift. And we will act, not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We'll restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise health care's quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. All this we will do.

Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions, who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Their memories are short, for they have forgotten what this country has already done, what free men and women can achieve when imagination is joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage. What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them, that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply.

The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works -- whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account, to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day, because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.

Nor is the question before us whether the market is a force for good or ill. Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom is unmatched. But this crisis has reminded us that without a watchful eye, the market can spin out of control. The nation cannot prosper long when it favors only the prosperous. The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our gross domestic product, but on the reach of our prosperity, on the ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart -- not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good. (Applause.)

As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our Founding Fathers -- (applause) -- our Founding Fathers, faced with perils that we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man -- a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience sake. (Applause.)

And so, to all the other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born, know that America is a friend of each nation, and every man, woman and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity. And we are ready to lead once more. (Applause.)

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with the sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort, even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we'll work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet.

We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense. And for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken -- you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you. (Applause.)

For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus, and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.

To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West, know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. (Applause.)

To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history, but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist. (Applause.)

To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to the suffering outside our borders, nor can we consume the world's resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it.

As we consider the role that unfolds before us, we remember with humble gratitude those brave Americans who at this very hour patrol far-off deserts and distant mountains. They have something to tell us, just as the fallen heroes who lie in Arlington whisper through the ages.

We honor them not only because they are the guardians of our liberty, but because they embody the spirit of service -- a willingness to find meaning in something greater than themselves.

And yet at this moment, a moment that will define a generation, it is precisely this spirit that must inhabit us all. For as much as government can do, and must do, it is ultimately the faith and determination of the American people upon which this nation relies. It is the kindness to take in a stranger when the levees break, the selflessness of workers who would rather cut their hours than see a friend lose their job which sees us through our darkest hours. It is the firefighter's courage to storm a stairway filled with smoke, but also a parent's willingness to nurture a child that finally decides our fate.

Our challenges may be new. The instruments with which we meet them may be new. But those values upon which our success depends -- honesty and hard work, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism -- these things are old. These things are true. They have been the quiet force of progress throughout our history.

What is demanded, then, is a return to these truths. What is required of us now is a new era of responsibility -- a recognition on the part of every American that we have duties to ourselves, our nation and the world; duties that we do not grudgingly accept, but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character than giving our all to a difficult task.

This is the price and the promise of citizenship. This is the source of our confidence -- the knowledge that God calls on us to shape an uncertain destiny. This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed, why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent mall; and why a man whose father less than 60 years ago might not have been served in a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath. (Applause.)

So let us mark this day with remembrance of who we are and how far we have traveled. In the year of America's birth, in the coldest of months, a small band of patriots huddled by dying campfires on the shores of an icy river. The capital was abandoned. The enemy was advancing. The snow was stained with blood. At the moment when the outcome of our revolution was most in doubt, the father of our nation ordered these words to be read to the people:

"Let it be told to the future world...that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive... that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet [it]."

America: In the face of our common dangers, in this winter of our hardship, let us remember these timeless words. With hope and virtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure what storms may come. Let it be said by our children's children that when we were tested we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back nor did we falter; and with eyes fixed on the horizon and God's grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations.

Thank you. God bless you. And God bless the United States of America. (Applause.)

Well, wonder no more. Check out this eight-part series on VH1 called Confessions of a Teen Idol.

The Bachelor - #3

Chris gives the girls their date card...

The date card is for Stephanie. From the limo Stephanie calls her daughter to wish her a happy birthday.

The limo takes Stephanie to meet Jason who is waiting for her. She throws her arms around him and the hold hands as they walk to the beach.

Stephanie does her "standard" cartwheel. Jason tells her he knows she gave up a lot and asks if she got to speak to her daughter today. He makes her turn around and Stephanie's daughter comes running down the beach into her arms. They collide and she cries as well as Jason. She tells her daughter she loves her and they frolick in the surf. Stephanie is overwhelmed and tells Jason so. She thanks him.

Jason says it was magical to see them together. He says that Stephanie deserves the world after what she has been through.

Jason, Stephanie and Sofia enjoy her birthday at an amusement park. It is too cute to see them running through the park with a little dressed up baby girl. Sofia looks like a little flower girl in her white dress. They have her dressed for their wedding already.

Jason has white picket fences in his eyes as they run and play with Sofia. Stephanie feels a connection to Jason because he reminds her of her husband.

Stephanie tells Jason that she is ready to meet Ty and that she understands what her place would be. That Ty's mom is his mom and she would be there to be a positive role model. She wants to find a man she can take care of.

Back at the house, another date card shows up and Kari, Shannon, Melissa, Noemi, Jillian, Nikki, Erica and Meghen will be one the group date.

Jason walks over to get the rose that we all knew he would be giving her. He says he had one of the most amazing days and would she accept. She says yes of course.

Jason feels it would be amazing to be with someone like Stephanie for the rest of his life.

Side Note: Could Sofia have the cutest clothes ever.

After playing Daddy, Jason is ready to party with all the other women.

The girls get out of the limo and see a showroom of busts. They will be working with an organization called Keep A Breast. They will be making sculptures of their busts, paint them and then auction them off for breast cancer awareness.

Erica and Melissa help Jason oil his body. When he asked for help they were the only two to volunteer.

Jason came around to help the girls put the casts on. Shannon asked Jason to put the gauze on because she was dying for him to touch her. She is such a loon.

Kari is excited that Jason is involved in charity because not many guys would do this.

BTW..how funny that Jason just hung around with no shirt on while the girls painted their busts.

Melissa must have been feeling strange or something because all of a sudden she tells Jason that she had a breast reduction.

Shannon is really a bizarre chick. She is excited that he felt her up a little bit.

Meghan tells him that everyone was excited and that doing those busts were really cool. She says she lives her life to serve people and that it has been hard to not have anyone appreciate her. She hasn't helped anyone in 10 days and she was glad to be able to give back.

Erica, thinks so is a better fit than Jason than some like Meghan.

Nikki, is upset that she has to compete with other girls because she is not use to it.

While talking Nikki and Jason ran out of things to say to each other.

Stephanie comes in with the next date card which turns out to be for Natalie.

Melissa and Shannon sit in a chair and talk quietly.

Jillian and Jason jump on a bed. She is trying too hard for me. She wants to stand out and wants to show him she is fun. She tells him that she isn't looking for marriage she is looking for someone she can't live without that she would want to marry.

Poor Shannon..what a freak. She doesn't know what to say to him so she says, "hi" and then throws her arms around him for a hug.

Jason goes to get the rose and tells the girls this was one of the coolest dates he has been on. He gives the rose to Jillian.

Nikki is sure that she is going home and she doesn't want to. She wants to fall in love.

Jason says he is extremely attracted to Natalie and wants to spend more time with her. He goes to pick up Natalie who is still getting dressed for her date. Jason takes a seat with the girls who hopefully were taking this time to spend time with him before his date with Nat.

Jason presents Natalie with a million dollars with of jewels. She is extremely materialistic and is getting the princess date she wanted. She feels like a million bucks and Jason feels she is rocking it.

The girls are very quiet as they head out onto their date wondering how the date will go since it started out like this.

God, I can't stand this chick!

Jason brings her to a private jet and if he was looking to get lucky he basically nailed it.

Stephanie the voice of reason tells the girls that Jason may fall for Natalie as they discuss what kind of girl Natalie is. They think that if Jason falls for her type that they don't see a way to get close to him.

Jason finds Natalie beautiful and feels as if they are a real couple "a celebrity couple."

Natalie sees a wedding chapel and wants to elope.

Jason says he really wants to get to know her better and he wants to give her a rose. He wishes that their conversation was better. He also says, he isn't sure if she is ready to give up party to be a mom. Although she says she is.

They dance. He says he wants to feel something for her. He wants his intuition to set in so that he can say she is the one for him. He knows that she wants him to kiss her but he doesn't want to. He wishes he felt more for her but he just doesn't.

He holds up the rose and tells her that he had a terrific date and that he can't give her the rose. He "really wanted there to be something and there isn't enough commonalities."

He feels that she is still exploring herself and she wants him to know that she is ready.

She is angry and bitter and tells him that their are people in the house that he is keeping. She shows her true colors and made it quite easy for him to realize he made the right decision. He won't ever be second guessing this decision.

Natalie knows she will be an awesome mom and that can happen tomorrow. She thinks he is intimidated by her. She says she has a lot going on. OK...

Jason heads into the party with the girls and is ready to find out who is causing fights in the house.

I am glad to see Jason decided to shave.

Jason asks the Eva Mendes, Naomi lookalike who is causing drama in the house. She tells him that she wants to talk to him about stuff that doesn't involve the girls. She tells him that he has so many of the qualities she looks for. She also tells him that she is falling for him and that she has only been with one other person in her whole life. Jason kisses her and tells her she is wonderful.

Nikki is concerned that some of the girls have been intimate with him. She is hoping for a kiss. She wants Jason to know that she can be playful.

She is being her bubbly self from the first night. Too funny, she leans in to kiss him and he has to grab her face to guide her to his face for a kiss. It was so weird. Why was she kissing air? That was the most awkward moment ever. We don't get to hear Jason's reaction to their kiss.

Erica, wants to tell Jason she is happy to be here. She feels better when he tells her that he never got a rose on the group date. She asks if he was checking out her boobs. Jason loves that she is fun.

The girls want Keri to bust out of her shell.

Molly tells him that she is getting butterflies whenever he comes around. Jason tells her that he heard from Natalie that there are people in the house that are not for him. He kisses her.

Naomi and Molly tells the girls that Natalie told Jason that there are girl in the house who don't have his best interest at heart.

Shannon feels sick tonight. She is upset because Natalie called out some girls.

Natalie tells Jason that she wants to lie on the couch with him in her Pajamas and say "hey hows your day." She wants to get to know you. She is so bizarre. She is "so ready to be a mother." "Hi I'm Shannon and I'm crying." Yuck!

Jason takes Stephanie and she tells us she wants to connect with him on a romantic level. She is so thankful for her date with her daughter. She wants to take this date to another level. She kisses him on her cheek and thanks him for having her here. She thanks him for the beautiful memory he created with Sofia. She thanks him for the feeling she has that she can love again. She kisses him and they hug. It was sweet and without passion but it was sweet.

Jason takes Lauren outside to ask about people in the house. She tells him that she doesn't see him with the drama queens in the house. She tells him that she is afraid of Megan. She says that it was Erica and Megan who were talking trash in the house.

Lauren tells Megan and the girls what was discussed with Jason. Megan tells her that she is juvenile for tattling and that they all talked about Natalie.

Chris tells the girls to let Jason knows what he needs to know before they head into the rose ceremony.

Nikki says that she feels the girl who they all believe was the drama queen is gone.

Megan feels that she feels targeted. Lauren feels that everyone has an opinion about everyone and that this is weird and awkward.

As Megan and Lauren are talking back and forth Shannon walks out of the room saying she hates it here. Jason walks off to check on her. He knocks on the door and asks if she is ok. She is really sick to her stomach.

Megan is tired of Shannon's self absorption. Jason hugs a puke smelling Shannon and she closes the bathroom door.

Lauren is nervous because she took a risk telling him names of the girls who cause drama.

Lauren comes out and apologizes.

Poor Jason. He thanks them for opening up and tells them that their opening up helped him make his decision.

The first rose goes to Molly, Lauren, Melissa, Naomi, Shannon, Nikki, and Megan.

This leaves Kari, and Erica as the two going home.

Megan is shocked and happy.

Poor Kari never came out of her shell so she never really stood a chance. She was invisible to the rest of the bolder girls.

Erica says personally she is disappointed and she feels that Megan is the reason she was sent home.

Am I The Last One To Know?

Did anyone else hear that Angels at the Fence by Herman Rosenblatt was a farce?

I had no idea.

Read this if interested.

I am sure this has Oprah and her staff pissed.

Need I Say More

Just a few more days.

Recycle your Christmas cards for charity

I found this on A Mama's Rant and have been looking for this address for a while. Up until two years ago I mailed my Christmas cards to St. Jude. The reminder must have dropped from my Outlook calendar because I haven't done this in two years. This post made me remember and provided the address.

St Jude's Ranch Recycled Card Program St. Jude’s Ranch for Children rescues abused, abandoned and neglected children of all races and faiths from the vicious cycle of child abuse. They provide healing and nurturing in a safe home-like environment where children can learn life skills to start new lives with new chances, new choices and new hope.

One of their fundraising activities is the St. Jude’s Ranch for Children Recycled Card Program. The children and St. Jude’s Ranch volunteers turn the previous year’s Christmas cards into "new" cards for the coming season. They remove the front of the cards and attach a new back made with recycled paper.

The benefits are two-fold: customers receive "green" holiday cards for use and the children receive payment for their work and learn the benefits and importance of going green. Since the program was started over 30 years ago, it was expanded to include all occasion greeting cards.

Donate your cards

People from all over the world have send their used card fronts and you can, too. Currently, St. Jude’s Ranch is accepting used, all-occasion greeting cards from November 15, 2008 thru February 28, 2009.

A Teenage Girls Wet Dream

The Bachelor - Season 13 - Episode 2

Jason packs his son's suitcase and sends him off to his mom's house for a while.

BTW...Jason should always wear blue.

The girls check out the house they will be living in. They are like a bunch of teenagers running into the house.

Jason shows up while the girls are hanging out at the pool. Jason tells the girls that "one of you guys are going to be my wife" and everyone swoons.

Jason takes Meghan aside and tells her that if she had not been voted off to get that rose he was going to give her one anyway.

Too funny...these chicks were drooling over Jason taking his shirt off.

Jillian and Jason talk about the hot dog theory. He thinks she is hysterical. She feels an instant chemistry,

Shannon is dying for one on one time and offers to give put sun tan lotion on him. She drools over his body. She also tells him that she is ready to be a mom and why. Her friends are all pregnant. He finds her fun because she tells him how much she wants to be there.

The door bell rings and there is a rose and a letter.

Nikki was talking about how she doesn't want to fade away when the girls come over with the rose.

Whomever he gives the rose to will get a romantic dinner with Jason.

The girls decide to get more aggressive to get the rose.

Stephanie is ready for one on one and Nikki tells her how to do it. "take a drink over for the both of you and when they are done go over there." Stephanie walks over with drinks in the middle of Natalie and Jason talking and stands there. She gets uncomfortable and eventually says, "when you are done talking I would really like to talk to you".

Jason walks over to Jillian with the rose. Natalie thinks the rose is going to her.

Natalie runs upstairs and Raquel goes to her. She tells her not to let this affect her and what can happen. Natalie is upset that Jillian got the rose and thinks it should have been her.

Urrr...hello honey...there are 15 girls and everyone wants their chance. So it wasn't you this time, maybe it will be you next time.

OMG....Lauren is thankful that she wasn't chosen because "what would I have done with my hair, I would have to wear it curly. Thank God it wasn't me."

Jason and Jillian dance and cuddle. Jason leans in and kisses her. Jillian's toes are curling. She tells us that this brought their relationship to a new level. Did they in fact HAVE a relationship?????

The girls receive another note. Melissa, will be going out with Jason on a one on one date.

Jillian talks to the girls about her date. The girls ask if they kissed and she says yes. Melissa is concerned about her date, now that she is following up the Jillian date.

Jason meets Melissa at the beach. He feeds her an oyster which she hates but takes it like a lady. She tells him that she wants to teach 1st grade and that in the summer she wants to stay home with her kids. He is all smiles.

The girls get another note, this one is for Natalie, Ericka, Noami, Kerri, Sharon, Nikki are going on the date.

Jason and Melissa, sit on the rocks and check out the blimp. The blimp is like a Magic 8 ball and they talk to the blimp. Melissa and Jason kiss.

Jason and Melissa take a ride in the blimp where there is a rose waiting. Jason tells her that he had a wonderful time and asks her to accept the rose. She does, and they kiss.

Jason and 8 girls o on their group date. He takes them shopping and tells them to pick out an outfit. Natalie says this is like a dream of hers. Uhhhh...high maintenance.

Thankfully none looked too trashy well except for Natalie with her mini and high boots.

BTW..love Jason's clothes, Jeans, t-shirt and vest. Cute!

Erica, can't deal with all the other women.

Jason takes the girls to a pool so he can see all of them in their bathing suits again.

Jason did some white boy break dancing. While Molly, Kari and Shannon did some synchronized swimming.

Molly wanted to show him her secret talent but can't do it in front of the girls because the next moment they are leaving the pool. Her tells him that secret talent is that she is a good kisser. Ummm...it wasn't even a good kiss.

Natalie points out to everyone that they are kissing and Nikki tells her that it is no ones business what they are doing. She doesn't want to hear it.

Nikki lies with Jason and tells him what she feels about the girls in the house. How some are ready and some are not. She wishes that he can see what happens in the house.

Naomi tells Jason that no matter what she would always want to be his friend. She asks "can we french kiss" Jason says, "what" and she asks again. He gives her one but what the hell, is she like 12 years old?

Jason gives the rose to Molly. I am honestly not sure why she did but Naomi was very upset. Seeing her cry over not getting the rose was odd.

Raquel decides to sneak into his limo to get some one on one time with him. She asks if he had enough of her already. It is a little creepy for her to sneak in there and he seemed a little off about it.

She is certain that Jason is the one for her. She wants someone to love her so much that if she were to die, someone would love her so much they would not be able to remarry. Sad!

Jason sits with Erica and asks about her behavior on the way home. He wants to know why she was so quiet on the way home.

He sits with Lauren and she tells him that she wants a two way street. She wants him to initiate things with her. He says that she is someone who needs a lot of reassurance and it may be more than he can give her right now.

Nikki and Melissa discuss the show and how the girls don't realize the show. How they would have to give up their lives and move to Seattle to be an instant mom.

Shannon and Jason get together and he quizzes her on himself. She knows everything he asks. Scary. She tells him "you're so cute" about 10 times. She tells him that if it works out it will be great. She is nutz.

Megan feels that Stephanie and her are great because they are moms.

Megan wants to know about Stephanie and asks about her husband. Stephanie tells them that her husband was a prince of a man. She tells them that her husband was killed and the girls cry as they listen. She tells them that she doesn't want to talk about her husband and how great he is she wants to talk about how great Jason is.

Megan and Jason sit for some one on one time. She talks about her daughter. I don't see much of a connection between them but I want good things for her.

Lisa tells Jason that she is going to leave to be with her family because her grandma is sick and her family needs her.

Shannon & Lauren are sad Lisa is leaving but they feel this is one less girl they have to worry about. Lauren says it's sad but she is not hear for the girls and she doesn't really care.

Megan is pissed that Jillian interrupted their date because she already has a rose. Megan watches them from afar that goes to complain to the girls.

Erica goes and tells Jillian that she has her back because there are some girls who are pissed and were talking about her.

Nikki asks him if he thinks he can find someone in this house. She tells him that there are people here that are not ready for this.

Erica says Megan is a mess. She approaches Megan and tells her that she is very disappointed in her. They go at it and the girls heads turn as if watching a tennis match.

Jason joins the girls who all seem very serious. Chris calls Jason aside to get the rose ceremony underway.

These girls are all about drama and more than 50% are self absorbed.

Chris and Jason talk in private and Chris tells him the girls are getting catty. They discuss Stephanie and how she is missing her daughter's birthday to be here.

They discuss how Lauren doesn't feel comfortable. He tells Chris that Lauren is used to being the center of attention and that she let him know she is uncomforable. He finds Nikki has his best interest at heart. He thinks a lot of the girls look up to Nikki. He talks about how much Shannon knows about him.

Chris asks about Raquel waiting in the limo. Jason says that it surprised him. He knows she wants to be noticed. When Chris brings up Megan, Jason says that his one on one time with Megan was good. He enjoyed that they talked more than just about their kids.

Jason informs Chris that he is falling for more than 1 person. I wonder who!

Watching Chris talk to the girls about the rose ceremony I am thinking he must have a pact with the devil. He looks the same from the beginning. Some of these girls were in middle school when he started hosting this show.

Jason gives the first rose to Megan. Why wouldn't he, she is a stunner.

The second goes to Nikki who is simply beautiful in her print dress.

Lauren gets he third rose. I am shocked because I though she would go home.

Naomi is next. Followed by Stephanie, Kari, Natalie (orange girl), damn I wanted her to leave too.

Shannon is next...damn it...I wanted her to go because she annoys me.

Erica gets the last rose. I am not sure why she didn't pass out. She puts his hand on on breast to feel her heart.

Raquel (limo stow away) and Sharon (who quit her job to be on the show) do not get roses.

Amateur Movie Review - The Orphanage

Last night my husband and I watched The Orphanage against my better judgement.

My sister-in-law spoke very highly of this movie so when finding nothing else, I borrowed it from my library for my husband to watch.

Certain that I wasn't going to want to watch due to disturbing images and it being a horror movie with children (my least favorite) I got my computer and sat down with Webkinz and Picnik to edit some photos.

According to Rotten Tomatoes website
- Consensus: When it seems like every horror movie nowadays is a remake or a grisly exercise in sadism, The Orphanage is a breath of fresh air for critics and audiences alike, seamlessly blending in a poignant tale of loss with the scares and blood.

Personally, I would prefer the blood. This movie about a mother, Laura whose adopted son Simon disappears. Laura now lives in the orphanage that she lived in as a child. Laura is determined to fix up the abandoned house and open it as a refuge for ill children. But from the moment she returns, the past begins to haunt her. It isn't long before she begins to see the children who she used to play with as a seven-year-old. And when Simon goes missing one afternoon, she's convinced that they have taken him hostage. What follows is a murky descent into Laura's mind, where she doesn't know what is real and what is a figment of her tortured imagination.

My sister-in-law's quote to me was "you will like this movie. It is about a mother's love for her child." Ok...well that is true..it was about that

But.....

Spoiler alert - spoiler alert - spoiler alert

Laura finds Simon dead in the house. While holding her dead son, she takes her own life by taking pills. She dies, her son stands, asks her to stay and take care of all of them while all the other dead orphans laugh and surround her while she plays Peter Pan's Wendy to a bunch of "Lost Boys."

Maybe this is art. Maybe this is an excellent made, thinking horror movie. But to me, it is a sad, horrific movie about a women who takes her own life while holding her dead son.

I couldn't watch this movie without seeing my son and myself. I cried at the end because of the mother's grief and the dead of the boy. What kind of horror movie makes you cry????

Chotskies gives this a B- for movie goers but for me personally it gets a big fat F!!!

The Return of Natalia/Emily Quartermaine?

Natalia Livingston (Emily Quartermaine) returns as someone named Rebecca. Does she have a connection to Emily? Only time will tell?

Beginning January 15, General Hospital (the building, and the show!) erupts into full blown crisis -- on a scale on par with past stories like the Metro Court hostage crisis, the train wreck, and the Port Charles Hotel fire. The residents of Port Charles are going to figure out pretty fast that every minute counts, because it could be their last. And yeah, that means death.

And since one impending disaster is never enough, look for tensions between Sonny and Jason to reach a fever pitch this week. They continue to provoke each other, while Claudia keeps playing them against one another -- and that's not even including role the FBI plays when they offer Jason Spinelli's freedom in exchange for Sonny's. Yep, Jason has to choose: Spinelli or Sonny.

All this, PLUS: Robin's post-partum depression worsens -- even as she and Patrick look to buy a new house next door to Elizabeth, Sam considers a new career path, Nadine takes on the U.S. government, and Carly might finally convince Jax their marriage is worth saving.

Little Cutie Welcomes a Sister

The news is that Jennifer Garner gave birth on Tuesday night (Jan 06) at a Los Angeles Hospital, her publicist told People magazine.

"Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl," the representative said. But no further details were given.

I am sure this baby will be as cute as her sister.

Possible Names?
Rose

Worry Not Twilight Fans!!!

Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz:

I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.

The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

Questions had arisen about whether the 16-year-old could effectively portray his werewolf character, who ages 10 years and grows much taller and bulkier in the film's sequel. But Weitz said Lautner, who's been hitting the gym to build muscle, is "emotionally right for the part" and has the movie studio's full support.

In a recent PEOPLE.com poll, readers overwhemingly voted to keep Lautner rather than see him replaced by actor Michael Copon, 26, a rumored rival for the role.

The Bachelor and General Hospital

Maxie and Spinelli of General Hospital (Kristen Storms and Bradford Anderson respectively) will be hosting the bachelor this season.

Jason and some of the bachelorettes will be treated to a behind the scenes tour with KS & BA.

Cool, I am so looking forward to this.

If you've never indulged in the guilty pleasure of watching a season of "The Bachelor", perhaps the next season is the perfect place to start. Why now? Because one of the infamous 'group dates' will be to the set of General Hospital! What could be romantic about visiting a soap set? Learning the techniques of screen kissing and acting out a secret fantasy, that's what!

This year's bachelor is Jason Mesnick, 32, a single father from Seattle. He made it to the final rose ceremony last season, only to drop on one knee and learn that he wasn't the chosen one. His luck is bound to change because this time around, he gets to do the chosing and he'll have twenty-five beautiful women to date in the process. In addition to the General Hospital
set visit, group dates will include private concerts from R&B singer Robin Thicke and pop star Kate Voegele, a Goodyear blimp ride over Los Angeles, and a romantic overnight date to New Zealand.

The date for the screen kiss lesson hasn't been released yet, but why not catch the entire season this time around? The premiere is on Monday January 5, 2009 at 8:00 PM (EST). Soaps.com will recap the set visit episode for you in case you miss it!

A Look Back At 13 Seasons of The Bachelor

I love this site.

Check out how it all started.

Meet the past 12 lucky bachelors.

There was Alex Michel, the very first bachelor. I hated this cocky guy.

I have really hated myself for watching this show but I can't help it.

The Bachelor - Season 13 - Episode 1

The beginning of the Bachelor we get to see how Jason become the bachelor and loads of him working out. He looks hot and I hope there are some nice, CLASSY girls on this show because honestly the scenes they keep showing look like there are a bunch of bitches (retracting my claws).

Jason says he has a connection with Meghan. Meg has a 14 month old baby boy.

Jason picked up the rose and walked out the of the room to give it to Nikki. I loved how he walked past Melissa who said, "hi" as he walked past her. I think she thought that rose was coming her way.

His 3 year old Ty will be around for the beginning of this season which I like. Some of my girlfriends have been talking about not watching the show because of this but for me this makes perfect sense. Jason is a dedicated dad looking for a women to JOIN his family. Ty is his family and however comes in might as well know from the beginning that they will always be second to his son. A real women would understand this and respect it.

We shall see.

The next segment shows the women talking about Jason. We get to meet each of them and I love the editing. It does seem like we will see a fist fight this season. There are some hardcore chicks on this seasons Bachelor. I'm scared folks.

There are some single moms on the show this season. I am really excited to see how this dynamic plays out. Girls with kids and girls without really stretches the playing field. I can't believe how kooky some girls are. The dental hygienist freaks me out. Jillian the Interior Decorator has a whole hot dog science. She says she can tell what kind of guy someone is by what they put on their hot dog. Odd! Jason is a mustard guy in case there are any other hot dog crazy chicks out there who can gauge a guy by what he puts on his pork.

Nikki, has a sign on her head that says add water instant mother.

Renee, and her vision boards really freaks me out. A 36 year old who cuts out words from magazines to trace out the path of her life needs to get a life.

Stephanie is a widow with a little girl and she and Jason share a moment outside. He tells her that she is amazing. I wonder if she will get the first impression rose.

Jason finally puts his coat over Lauren the teacher from NJ. He was dying to do this because he must have asked a bunch of girls and everyone said no. Dumb girls.

Jason had a "surprise for her" she thought she was getting the "first impression rose" but it was a cake for her birthday. Bwaahhhh hahahah...poor Lauren.

Since this is the first single dad on the bachelor this season, the powers that be decided to add another first..a girl will be sent packing this evening by ballot. All the girls will vote to send someone home. I hate this idea. The perfect girl for Jason could be sent packing because a bunch of chicks noticed him connecting with someone. Sad!

He gives the first impression rose to Nikki

Jason says he has a connection with Megan but then her name comes up on the ballot box to leave. Chris comes in and tells the girls that Megan is leaving tonight but she is leaving with a rose.

When she gets up to get her rose she calls the girls "bitches". Ahh...exactly what the Powers that Be wanted to happen. Now, the girls have to live with the women they voted out. This is what makes interesting TV, people.

Stacie, Renee (vision board chick), Jackie ("she thought she found the man of her dreams" didn't she just meet him?) don't get roses.

Ahhhhh we get to see clips of the upcoming episodes. What the hell??? DeAnna is here???!! This has to be just edited segments intended to make us all wonder if she wants Jason back. I can't imagine it is her that he proposes to when we here him say, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

Jett Travolta Likely Died From Seizure

REEPORT, Bahamas – Jett Travolta's body shows no sign of head trauma and his death certificate says he was killed by a "seizure," an undertaker said Monday, as the 16-year-old's celebrity parents prepared for a Florida funeral.

Glen Campbell, assistant director of the Bahamian funeral home handling the remains of John Travolta's son, told The Associated Press that the body is in "great condition," despite police officials who had said the teen hit his head on a bathtub.

Authorities didn't release the results of an autopsy performed Monday, but Campbell saw the body and the death certificate, which was based on its findings.

"The only cause of death that was listed was 'seizure'," he said.

Late Monday, a black hearse traveled from the funeral home to the airport after the family said it would bury the teen near their home in Ocala, Florida. Two white jets waited as police in dress uniforms blocked access to the tarmac.

Jett Travolta died Friday at the family's vacation home on Grand Bahama Island.

"We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief," actor parents John Travolta and Kelly Preston said Sunday in a public statement. "We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives."

Travolta tried CPR to revive his son, who may have died in his arms before an emergency medical technician took over, Usmagazine.com reported, citing Travolta attorneys Michael McDermott and Michael Ossi. They did not respond to calls from the AP on Monday.

Travolta, 54, and Preston, 46, have said Jett became very sick when he was 2 years old and was diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome, an illness that leads to inflamed blood vessels. Preston has blamed household cleaners and fertilizers and said a detoxification program based on teachings from the Church of Scientology helped improve his health, according to People magazine.

Police said in a statement that Jett had not been seen since Thursday when a caretaker, Jeff Kathrain, found him unconscious late Friday morning. But McDermott said that wrongly left the impression that Jett was unsupervised. He said two nannies were with Jett throughout the evening, and he does not believe the teen was in the bathroom for very long.

About a dozen security guards and Bahamian police officers patrolled around the luxury Old Bahama Bay resort community Sunday where the Travoltas have their home. The white-sand beach in front of the suites was closed.

The couple also has an 8-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu.

Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham sent condolences to the Travolta family and said the autopsy is a formality the country requires in cases of sudden death to rule out foul play.
